Always something there to remind me Always something there to remind me I walk along those city streets you used to walk along with me And every step I take recalls how much in love we used to be Oh how can I forget you When there is always something there to remind me? Always something there to remind me Always something there to remind me Always something there I was born to love you And I will never be free You'll always be a part of me Whoa If you should find you miss the sweet and tender love we used to share Just go back to the places where we used to go And I'll be there How can I How can I How can I forget you Whoa-oh-ooo-ohhh When there is always something there to remind me Always something there to remind me I was born to love you And I will never be free You'll always be a part of me

I have a cat named Easter, he says will you ever learn You’re just an empty cage girl if you kill the bird I got a kick for a dog, who’s begging for love I gotta have my suffering, have my cross I’ve been looking for a savior in these dirty streets Looking for a savior beneath these dirty sheets I’ve been raising up my hands, drive another nail in Just what God needs, one more victim Why do we Why do we crucify Why do we crucify ourselves My heart is sick of being in chains Every finger in the room is pointing at me I wanna spit in their faces then I get afraid of what that could bring I got a bowling ball in my stomach, I got a desert in my mouth Figures that my courage would choose to sell out now I’ve been looking for a savior in these dirty streets Looking for a savior beneath these dirty sheets I’ve been raising up my hands, drive another nail in Just what God needs, one more victim Why do we crucify ourselves Everyday I crucify myself Nothing I do is good enough for you Crucify myself Everyday I crucify myself My heart is sick of being I said my heart is sick of being in chains Please be Save me I cry Looking for a savior in these dirty streets Looking for a savior beneath these dirty sheets I’ve been raising up my hands, drive another nail in Just what God needs Where are those angels when you need them

about

‘The Recover EP’ was finished in October 2008 and worked on intermittently from February of that year. It's made up of covers and remixes of songs I have unreserved love of and so decided to ruin. I veer far away for the source material to create something that I believe is pretty interesting.
